| I. Alchemy Mastery - Spoiler:
An indication of how much knowledge you have gained about Alchemy. Mastery of Alchemy will increase after becoming familiar with all the various known types of Alchemy, not just one type. The material and structural changes aren't easy to follow, but investing the effort to acquire the proper knowledge will result in optimum results in most skills that pertain to Alchemy. Details:• Alchemy mastery is a skill with similar effects as other mastery skills. • Advancing alchemy mastery allows you to be more likely to succeed in alchemy skills, and use the skills more efficiently. • All alchemy skills depend on the rank of this skill rather than the character's stats. • Creating crystal success rate is affected by weather(Thunderstorm) and daily effects (Saturday/Samhain). • Being in a party does not affect crystal production success. • Building a structure and calling a helper training methods mean for you to use Barrier Spikes and Summon Golem skills, respectively. • For a list of crystals and recipes, look at the page Alchemy Crystal List. • Skill is not implemented in NA and is estimated to arrive in G9. | II. Barrier Spikes (Protective Wall) - Spoiler:
With the use of Alchemy, Barrier Spikes are created to block opponent attacks. When you advance your rank, you can deal damage or attack opponents that are beyond the Barrier Spikes. Barrier Spikes are recommended when you are battling multiple opponents or have a friend that needs protection. Details•An alchemy skill used to put up a wall to protect the character from incoming attacks. The wall has its own HP bar and must be “killed” in order to be knocked down. •You can physically attack your own wall to destroy it. Other players can also attack it. •Or alternatively, you can right click your own wall and select the option to destroy it. This will not work on another person's wall. •Higher ranks increase the wall's HP. •Requires a Cylinder and a Barrier Spikes Crystal. •Barrier Spikes Crystal is created by Mana Crystallization with the use of 3x Firewood and 1x Earth Crystal •Walls can only be created in dungeons and the Shadow World. •Using an Earth Cylinder to create a wall will make the wall have more HP. •Walls cannot be placed on monsters, players, etc. •Useful to stave off attacks while other alchemy skills are prepared. •Pets can also get stuck behind a wall, however. •Blockable Attacks: Close range attacks, long range attacks(range/magic/alchemy), Stomp, Windmill, Self-destruct. •Unblockable Attacks: Life Drain, Magic Missile, Final Shot, giant boss special attacks, Mainstream boss special attacks. •Starting from Rank 9, any attack on the wall will reflect its damage back onto the attack. •Starting from Rank 5, the user can attack through his own wall. However, the enemy cannot. •Acceptable attacks through the wall: Any skills involving Alchemy, Range, and Magic. •Unacceptable attacks through the wall: Any melee skills, including Windmill and a weapon's splash range (this includes skills such as Smash that can have a massive splash range). •Skill is not implemented in NA and is estimated to arrive in G9. Obtaining the SkillClear Leymore's RP during the G9 Mainstream.

| III. Call Golem (Golem Transmutation) - Spoiler:
An innovative Alchemy skill that can create Golems by structurally changing the inside of a stone. This ancient skill developed by Fomor Alchemists was previously inimitable by terrestrial races until recent times. This process is many times more intricate than controlling a Golem. Details•An alchemy skill that summons a golem to aid the user. •A small window will open up, giving the player the option to switch to the golem in order to play as it to fight nearby enemies. Switching between golem control mode and player control mode is easily done by clicking the corresponding button on the window. •If you are attacked when you control golem, you are forced to switch to player control mode. •Golem status and physical size is influenced by the Alchemy Mastery skill. •Golem skill ranks are dependent on the type of golem. •Golem status and physical size is influenced by the Alchemy Mastery skill. •Skill is not implemented in NA and is estimated to arrive in G9. Obtaining the Skill:Read the skill book "Alchemical Combat Fusion" purchased from Dorren in Taillteann for (28,800G).

| IV. Synthesis (Compound) - Spoiler:
A skill that produces a new item by synthesizing multiple items in a dry oven. The quality of items before you synthesize will determine the quality of items after. Although it's hard to predict item results, you can find synthesis recipes in books on Alchemy, which can teach you how to make exceptional items (e.g. Ice Mine). DetailsAllows you to synthesize new items by using at least 3 items at a dried furnace(?) by random chance. -The chance of a successful synthesis depends on your rank of Alchemy Mastery, Saturday's Daily Effect, and the Weather. -Also allows you to replicate one crystal used in alchemy skills (except for the basic 4 elemental ones) into 10 of the same type by using the crystal you want to replicate, holy water, and crystal of arat. -If you synthesize weapon or equipment, it can sometimes have different status. -For a list of recipes, see the Compound List. -Skill is not implemented in NA and is estimated to arrive in G9. Obtaining the SkillDecompound must already be learned in order to acquire Compound. To learn Compound it is necessary to be Level 30 or higher. Talk to Dorren using the 'Skills' keyword.

A skill that emits flames upon loading the Cylinder with Fire Crystals. This skill continually covers the front range of the player. You can load up to 5 Fire Crystals at once, so multiple fire can be considered. DetailsThrows a jet of flame at the target, like a flame thrower. -Flamer ignores the target's Protection when calculating critical rate. -Damage is not affected by player stats, but is affected by Enchants and/or the rank of the player's Alchemy Mastery. -No matter how many times it is stacked, it always throws the same number of hits at the enemy. -The number of stacks determines how much damage is inflicted. More charges increase the damage. -Upon receiving the last hit, the enemy gets knocked back. -The number of hits will change as the flamer rank gets higher. Low ranks hit 3 times, Rank 5 and above hits 4 times [needs confirmation for this one] and Rank 1 hits a grand total of 5 times, with the last hit knocking back the enemy. Warning-This skill cannot be canceled during its animation phase, making you open to any attack. -Using the skill when an enemy is still in its knockback or getting up phase will cause some unfortunate retaliation. -Example: Using Rank 1 Flame Burst on an enemy that is getting up or already down may make the second and third attack deal no damage and stun, and the final attack to cause no -knockbacks, allowing immediate retaliation from the enemy. -Sometimes a monster might just go through the fire if it was not hit by the first attack, allowing it to attack you even while having other enemies in the flame's effects. It is possible to create a snowstorm using a cylinder. DetailsIt takes a certain amount of time for a target to freeze. -It is possible to attack a frozen target. The target will remain frozen and cannot be knocked back or knocked down. -Frozen blast does not directly damage a target. -Frozen blast affects everything in its linear radius (like ice spear from point of origin to target). -Frozen blast will most likely miss if used against a moving target. -Freezing time and freezing rate is dependent on skill rank. -Decreases Defense and Protection of targets. Obtaining the Skill:Talk to Dorren using the "Skills" Keyword with at least Rank A Water Blast and Rank Novice Synthesis. You will get a quest that requires you to get a snowball by hitting a snowman in Sidhe Sneachta. Then you must deliver the snowball to Dorren and you will get rank Novice Frozen Blast

Because the high pressure is necessary, alchemy will raise the cylinder pressure to use and will be able to use. • Consumes 5 Crystal of Fire. • Fire elemental skill, using a Fire Cylinder will increase damage. • Upon being used, the user as well as the target will be pushed back a set distance. o While the user is being pushed back, other skills may be loaded. • You must use 4 consecutive offensive alchemy skills for the skill to become active. o Not casting an offensive alchemy for approximately 5 seconds lowers the count by 1. o Casting Spark counts as offensive alchemy. • When the skill is available, its icon will flash yellow. • The skill must be used within 10 seconds, or it will become inactive. • Has a very short range (500)

Specialized for recovery during battles, as it can quickly recover your HP while dealing lethal damage on opponents. Your knowledge in Alchemy will rapidly advance once you fully experience this skill. Details:• An alchemy skill that drains the HP of the target and adds it to the user's HP. • As an alchemy skill, requires a Cylinder and a Life Drain Crystal. • You cannot move while using this skill. When the skill is finished, it will knock the enemy back. • When you are the target of this skill, you may only walk. • You cannot use the skill while transformed as a Dark Knight. You also cannot use this skill against the town guards in Vales and Filia. • Damage is increased by the Alchemy Mastery skill (1.25x damage with AM rank 9). • Ranking Life Drain also increases the success rate for making Life Drain Crystals. This success rate is also affected by Synthesis. • So far the only fomors who can use this skill are the Shadow Commander, a boss of one of the Shadow Missions, the Light Blue Golem, the boss of the Ciar Boss Rush, and the Red Cyclops, the boss of Rundal Boss Rush. (See Life Drain (Monster).) Obtaining the Skill- Learned as a reward for "The Advance Team's Mission" Generation 9 quest. - Players accompanying someone else who is completing this quest will also learn the skill.

| X. Mana Crystalization (Mana Forming) - Spoiler:
A skill that stores the powers of magic such as Fireball, Thunder, or Ice Spear, in a crystal using the steam oven. This type of crystal can be used even by those who do not have the related skill, as long as they are equipped with a Cylinder. With higher rank, a better quality crystal can be produced and a shorter amount of time is spent casting when using the Mana Crystal. Although you can use your own magic to perform Mana Crystallization, it’s not recommended because of the difficulty in handling both Alchemy and your own magic simultaneously. (It would ultimately be subpar to using someone else’s magic.) Details:• This skill is used to create crystals of the advanced magic spells Fireball, Ice Spear, and Thunder using a Mana Crystallization Furnace. You must already have the spell in order to make these crystals. •Using a magic spell by magic crystals have no critical effect. (Even though you can see a 'Critical Hit!' message, it does not boost damage.) o However, you will still receive Critical Hit training. • Crystal's rank determines the skill's damage, entrusting, Daily Effects(Samhain). o Crystal rank is dependent on the rank of the spell used. • For all crystals except Fireball, the number of charges used to make the crystal will be the number of charges the magic has when the crystal is used. o Fireball crystals MUST have 5 charges or they cannot be made. • Creating the crystals is very taxing on the player's mana. It is advised to used Mana Elixirs or potions when creating large numbers of crystals. o Having wands with upgrades that reduces casting time will aid the user in creating more crystals in a short amount of time, maximizing the use of Mana Elixir. • A player may chose to entrust spell charges to another person in the party. o Crystals created in this manner will match the spell rank of the one that the charging was entrusted to. • Skill is not implemented in NA and is estimated to arrive in G9. Obtaining the Skill- Learned from Dorren during the Generation 9 quest, "Fallon's Request."

Every matter contains the 4 essential alchemy elements water, fire, wind and earth. As the time goes by, the elements of the matter changes because of deterioration and discoloration. If the essential elements of any matter could be changed, the creation of new matter is possible. Alchemy has researched the elements for long periods of time, and at the end, a solution to change the nature of metals has been found. Through this skill, you can change the form of a basic metal to more valuable metal forms. Moreover, with better luck, it is possible to create diamond like gems or new forms of metals never seen in Erinn before. This skill can be used only in dry furnace. Details• Allows the user to change metal into other metal. • Sometimes you get extra metal(tin, zinc, nickel) or jewel. • Skill is not implemented in NA and is estimated to arrive in G10. Obtaining the SkillG10S2 Quest • Talk to Heledd and receive a Shadow Mission o The monsters consist of normal Shadow Monsters as well as skeleton variations of them. o The difficulty of the shadow mission depends on your total level. • Inside the Shadow Mission clear groups of 2-3 Shadow Monsters at a time. • Eventually Jenna will join you. • After killing the boss watch a scene and return to Tara. • You will recieve the novice rank Metal Extraction upon talking to Heledd.

| XIII. Sand Burst - Spoiler:
A skill that projects sand on an opponent upon loading the Cylinder with Clay Crystals. This attack frequently leaves the opponent blind, disabling the opponent from accurately counterattacking. You can blind even the most powerful enemies once your rank advances, and you can always prepare by loading and firing up to 5 crystals at once. You may be restricted from use temporarily if you use it excessively. DetailsThrows sand at an enemy, and when succeeded, blinds the enemy and prevents them from attacking for a short period of time. The duration of the blinding effect can last longer if you have a higher ranking Alchemy Mastery. Using sand burst on an enemy already blinded will reset the timer on being blinded, and will not add up to the time of being in the state. The damage inflicted by the skill is very small. Obtaining the Skill Talk to Lucas in Emain Macha about Skills after obtaining Alchemy Mastery rank Practice or higher. He will give you a quest. 1.Talk to Eabha in Taillteann Rewards Experience: 4000

The user stays mobile and is able to use other skills, while stunning nearby monsters with lightning attribute damage. Skill is not implemented in NA and is estimated to arrive in G11S1. Requires more AP than Ice Spear, the highest AP costing skill implemented at this time. Spark can flinch certain mobs that have Advanced Heavy Stander. Spark has an effect near-identical to Fury of Light, except instead of the attacks radiating from you, you can choose to have them centered on an enemy (although you can target yourself if you wish.) The attacks also come out much faster, but there is an increased delay between them. OBTAINING THE SKILL OF SPARK!Skill is not implemented in NA and is estimated to arrive in G11S1. | XV. Water Cannon - Spoiler:
A skill that allows you to blast a powerful stream of water by inserting Water Crystals in the Cylinder. Spinning at high speeds, the water deals significant damage and knocks down nearby opponents. (Opponents at a distance will only incur minor damage and will not be knocked down.) You can insert up to 5 crystals at a time, which could be shot all at once if the situation demands. DetailsShoots compressed water out of the user's Cylinder to knock an enemy back for damage. The damage inflicted and chance of being knocked back depends on how close the enemy is to the player and the number of charges done. The enemy will be knocked back when it is the distance close enough to hit with a Rank F Windmill. This distance will change with the rank. Requires one Water Crystal per charge, which is used up after a successful hit with the skill. The skill is Ice Element and acts similarly to Icebolt against enemies with Mana Reflector. Does not level up Flying Swords. Nullified by Ice Magic Shield. Damage is not affected by player stats, but is affected by Enchants and/or the rank of the player's Alchemy Mastery. Can be stacked up to 5 charges. All charges are released at once. Obtaining the Skill:-Simply pick up or purchase a Crystal of Water. Eabha sells them in stacks of 10 and 50 for 100G and 500G, respectively.

| XVI. Wind Blast - Spoiler:
A skill that shoots out a blast of wind by inserting Wind Crystals in the Cylinder. It does not deal significant damage but is strong enough to knock a nearby opponent far away. The closer the opponent is, the greater the impact on opponent. You may be restricted from use temporarily if you use it excessively. DetailsShoots a burst of wind from the user's Cylinder to knock an enemy back for minor damage. Always knocks the target back, even if they have Defense or Wind Guard activated. The closer you are to the opponent, the farther back they get blown. If Wind Blast is used thrice within a certain period of time, not necessarily in a row, the Wind Blast icon will start to blink black. When a successful Wind Blast is used within this period, making up the fourth shot, there will be a cooling time of approximately 1 minute applied. Using a skill after the third Wind Blast will not remove the blinking. Requires a Crystal of Wind. Obtaining the SkillAsk Eabha in Taillteann about skills.
